38TH ALL CANADIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

PRACTICE COURTS FOR MAIN DRAW AVAILABLE TONIGHT, MAY 1st, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ROUGHLY 6 PM – 8 PM!

 

ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES EXCPET WHEN HITTING OR WARMING UP IN THE DESIGNATED AREAS!

*There will also be some additional practice courts from 6 pm – 8 pm on Friday, that players will be able to book on site that don’t already have a booking through the app. Players please book your courts on the app directly first.

Example: Court 7a represents two slots on Court 7, 7b has the remaining two slots also on Court 7. The Courts will be shared for practice to allow for 4 players per court, for 30 minute bookings.

COACHES / Support Person

Only accredited coaches will be allowed into the club to act as a player support personunfortunately there will be no viewing for parents. Players and Coaches must also be fully vaccinated and provide documented proof of full vaccination – QR code verification is mandatory for all Canadian players and support persons – to enter the facility during their player’s match or practice.  Coaches must send an email that includes their Name and Date of Birth (SUBJECT LINE, COACH ACCREDITATION REQUEST with Player Name) TO ontariotd@hotmail.com to receive approval for entry with their player(s).  Players and their designated coach will only be allowed to enter the facility if they are competing or practicing.

ITF DECLARATION FORM

General Information

 

Players’ Lounge/ Tournament Desk / Designated Warm-Up Area  

The Tournament Desk and Players’ Lounge will be located at The Cedar Springs Club besides ACE Tennis Academy office nearby tennis court #7. 

We will have a designated fitness and warm up area for tournament players beside the Players’ Lounge.  Non-members including tournament Players and Coaches are not allowed to use Cedar Springs Club Gym and Fitness Facilities.  

MATCH DAY PROCEDURE

Due to modified ITF protocols, player payment and picture ID check will take place before your first match. Upon arrival to the facility for first matches, players will go through a registration process in the following order: 

  1. COVID screening at Tournament Desk with Oubaida (Player and Approved Coach) Please allow sufficient time for screening before your match.
    1. Show QR Code Proof of Vaccination
    2. Government Issued ID
    3. Email Receipt of Completed ITF Declaration form. Link to form.
  2. Picture ID check with ITF supervisor (players without ID will not be allowed to play the event – passport picture ID strongly recommended).
  3. Payment with tournament director – CASH ONLY ($65 USD; $90 CAD) 

Towels: We will not be providing towels for players. Please bring your own logo free towel. 

Balls: Used Practice Balls will be available. New balls will also be available for purchase.

Practice court reservations: Please see the links above for instructions and dedicated event booking link.

Rules: 30 min per player; 4 players per court.

*If players wish to book courts outside of the designated practice court times, they must contact the front desk to purchase an external court booking.*

Qualifying: For players competing in qualifying, we will provide free practice courts on Friday April 29th between 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Saturday evening after Qualification matches. 

Main Draw: Practice Courts will be available on Sunday May 1st after the Qualification matches (time TBA).

Match Day Warm-up: Practice courts will be available each morning for 1.5 hours on the morning of each match day. 

STRINGING

On-site stringing will be available for $30 CAD/ $25 USD per racquet.
