ACE Tennis has been recognized as a leader in player development for over 40 years. We are committed to the development of excellence in youth through the sport of tennis and offer leading edge tennis programs, camps and competitive training in a supportive and educational environment. We currently operate year round out of Cedar Springs Club in Burlington, at Toronto Tennis City in Toronto, and in 6 seasonal club locations in the GTA.

We provide progressive programs for players of all levels and commitment. Our Skill Development programs are for players wanting to learn the skills necessary to enjoy tennis for life. Our High Performance programs are designed for players wanting to compete at a Provincial, National or International level. We are committed to each player reaching their tennis goals simply to learn a lifetime activity, receive a university scholarship or play professionally.

ACE has been nominated as a Gold Development Training Center by Tennis Canada for the last 20 years since the inception of the award.  ACE is operated by partners Pierre Lamarche and Doug Burke, both former Davis Cup Captains for Canada and Jamaica, former ATP tour members & coaches, and have an international reputation and have worked with the international tennis federation.

All ACE coaches are certified by Tennis Canada, and many have led provincial, national and international teams in competition, as well as serving as course conductors for the Tennis Canada certification system.

Cancellations & Refunds Programs

Skills Development Programs:  Cancellations to any registered program must be requested 2 weeks prior to the first day of the session for an eligible refund.   All refunds will be subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee.   Requests within the 2 week period or during the session will only be considered if extenuating circumstances apply.  All requests need to be in writing (email).

Competitive Programs:  The competitive program is a full 10/12 month commitment, regardless if paid in full or on installment plan. If a registered player leaves before the program ends for personal or other reasons, they will still be responsible for full payment of fees.  If Ace is able to fill your vacant spot, then remaining fees will not be charged.  All requests are to be in writing (email) and to be arranged through our administrative manager only.   Missed sessions due to sickness, injuries, vacations, weather or other reasons are not reimbursed.  All efforts are made to provide an opportunity for make-up classes within the program, if space is available.  You can discuss with your coach for more information.

Summer Camps:  Cancellations to any registered camp must be requested 2 weeks prior to the first day of the camp to be eligible for a refund.  All refunds will be subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee.  Individual camp days missed for any reason cannot be refunded or credited.

Rain Policy:  There are no refunds on rain days or weather related altered programming. Camps run rain or shine with indoor planned programming if the courts are unplayable.

Pandemic Policy: In the event of a government mandated shutdown of our programs or closure of our facilities during a pandemic, credit is provided if the programs are canceled by a government mandate, not the client’s initiative.*Please see our ACE Safe protocols for more information relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bullying Policy: Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated at any ACE Tennis program/camp.   In general, a “three strikes” policy is followed.  Upon receiving a 1st strike the participant will be made aware of the infraction.  Strike 2 will involve parent notification.  Strike 3 will be immediate expulsion from the program/camp.
